it's just solid sushi. yeah it's not traditional, and some of the rolls start blending together, but the sushi is great. we go there once a week minimum because it's a great price, huge quality tasty rolls. the perks: the sashimi slices are nice and big, and fresh...the salmon is the best I've ever had (yeah i know, it's just salmon, how good can it be? try it!). the rolls are super tasty, and the stuffed jalepenos are insane. the downfall: yes some of the house rolls tend to blend together in flavor because they throw every ingredient under the tree in them...for example tempura, crab (it's fake, but this isn't a high end sushi joint) is in everything...and the tempura batter doesn't seem like the same batter when you get tempura because it's thick. regardless, out of all the places i've eaten in the city (horrible!...tiny generic sushi that all tastes the same and you pay $$$), this place is one of my faves. if you want a high end place, the best i've eaten at was sakae in burling-lame.

Pros: terrific sashimi, stuffed jalapenos, unique huge rolls

Cons: house rolls tend to taste similar because they use every ingredient under the sun sometimes
