The first time I've been to Stacks it was a Thursday morning. There was about a 20 minute wait but I'm glad I stuck around to try it out. I'm a breakfast person so automatically the extensive menu was a good start. Everything I ordered was pretty medicore however the pancakes here don't taste flat and were actually really good. The second time I went to Stacks it was a Sunday morning. It was a jungle itself to get in to sign up. The wait would have been close to 50 minutes. Stacks overall is a pretty decent breakfast restaurant however if you're starving for some immediate breakfast I think your stomach would forgive you if you passed.

Food was average, service was average. "Diner" style food with typical Silicon Valley twists. I suggest ordering the "veggie scramble" without celery as its overpowering flavor got used as a filler - shame. Nice ambiance, though - good place to go if you're in Downtown Campbell early. Weekdays aren't as busy as weekends - bring your laptop and get some work done on the free WiFi some morning. Overall thumbs up, but almost leaves one wanting a "regular old diner".
Pros: ambience
Cons: parking, service

I ordered the chocolate chip waffle, it was heavenly ! my friend got the 'across the border' burrito and said it was very good too. We got there early (around 7.30am) and it got very busy around 8am, and by the time we left there was a line. The coffee was good, ok service, our food was excellent, would definitely go back there. One thing though, it's a little pricey, but worth it in the end.
Pros: waffle, coffee
Cons: busy

Moved to Campbell 5 years ago and have been going to Stacks off and on just about the entire time. Breakfast menu is great, food is good, and decent value. HOWEVER, success has not been kind IMHO. LONG WAITS on the weekends...can't get there before 8am? don't bother. Too many turns of the tables = stressed out servers = poor service. Sporadic lapses in quality & timing from the kitchen as well. Weekdays are probably a different story, but for a family weekend breakfast, we go someplace else.
Pros: Menu choices, Value
Cons: Crowded, Noisy, Service

I visited Stacks last Sunday and was so impressed!!It's right in the heart of Downtown Campbell and I just had the best breakfast I've ever had. I brought my mom in for some pancakes and the staff made her feel so good (it was her 76th birthday!!) The warm service and fresh, wonderful smoothies just made my day. Thanks Stacks! I'll be back...
Pros: Friendly Staff, Awesome Smoothies, Relaxing Atmosphere

Scowring the Internet for good food is what I do. I noticed rave reviews for Stacks Restaurant and noticed one not too far from my girlfriend's house in Cupertino. Crepes!! I love crepes. Well, I love good crepes. So we went and waited outside for about 30 minutes in the rain to be seated for brunch. Once seated, we got stuck at a table adjacent to the kitchen. Loud, yes. Since we had plenty of time to peruse the menu before being seated, we were able to order quickly. Sitting so close to the kitchen, I watched the waiters make "fresh" lemonade out of a water, lemon juice, and sugar. We finally got our drinks right after we got our food. If you don't mind waiting a half hour for poor service, a smoothie that tastes like milk and water, and a plate of soggy crepes, this is your place.
Cons: , Disgusting Smoothies, Poor Service

My experience was less than delightful. It's better than a Denny's but not by much. A more pleasing experience would be Flames.
Pros: counter seating
Cons: waiting area is lmt'd

Pros: the food, the food, the food
Cons: wait, price

I went to Stack's for the first time last weekend expecting to have a Denny's type of experience. Was I ever mistaken! I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and my girlfriend had the Banana Macadamia Nut Pancakes. The portions were huge (order a short stack or single pancake unless you're REALLY hungry)! My Huevos were better than I have ever gotten at a mexican restaurant. They were served with delicious homecooked potatos. The only drawback to my experience was that my girlfriend and I had to wait awhile before we were seated. It's best to get there early if you're in a hurry!!
Pros: Great portions, Lots of choices, Friendly servers
