Currently I'm an employee of Club One, and let me tell you everybody it's by far the best place to work in and especially work out. The environment is amazing, all the staff people working there are very educated, polite and respectful. I enoy my everyday job and love it, and the main reason for it is that both of us the Staff and the Members want to be there. People come to the Club to enjoy themselves and what the Club has to offer, and we, employees, are there to make that experience unforgetful and filled with smiles and joy. The Members of One are all nice people and polite, sure some things might go wrong and the Membersmight get a little upset/disappointed but it's the job for the Staff and we can handle it with a smile on our faces. I respect everyone's needs/concerns judt like any crew member of One. May your experience be fulfilled with smiles and excitement of the Club itself and of course the Staff will make that experience unforgettable. FC Staff employee

Pros: clean environment, polite people, lots of space+++

Cons: ???

After canceling our membership, we received a notice from Club One informing us that we had overdue membership dues. We called Club One who informed us that they had not canceled our contract but in-fact extended our contract for another year. When we asked them for proof of this, they told us they didn't have any but were going to submit our past due balance for collections if we didn't pay up and continue our membership. All I can say is "watch out!!!!" As for the club, the fillmore club is horrible. It has no real natural light and all the equipment is packed into a pretty small space. They do have people cleaning but the place still seems to be dirty. The pool is always packed and good luck trying to get to share a lane with some of the locals. They are quite fiesty.

Pros: Better than 24 hour

Cons: Expensive plus they won't let you cancel your contract!!!!!

I've been a member of Club One Fillmore Center for over 5 years. Dues keep increasing a bit (usually a couple of small increases a year), while service has tended to decline in the last couple years. In particular, this facility has chronic plumbing problems. There are regularly problems with the pool, jacuzzi, or (men's) steam, sauna or showers (don't know about women's area). For example, the pool and jacuzzi had a malfunctioning heat exchanger and valve problem (according to staff) last week that made them COLD for about 5 days. Rather annoying to pay top dollar and get sub-standard "wet" facilities. On the plus side: Plentiful towels and fairly clean locker rooms.

Definitely better than YMCA and 24 hour in terms of equipment and space. You pay for it though. Not the most attentive staff behind the counter. In my first week there, I saw two examples of staff doing their best to ignore customers. Usually I don't expect much from someone working at a low paying, non-career job, but when you are paying this much money you would like to see staff who actually seem like they give a d__mn. If you want a good variety of equipment and a not too crowded place to work out, go here or to the J center. They both cost about the same.

Pros: large cardio room; plenty of machines, weights, and equipment; free parking

Cons: the 2 "free" training sessions are a joke; i didn't get real training until I paid for it; pool can be crowded

Club one employees actually care about their members. I'm a current member at Fillmore center. I've been with them since 2001 and the facility actually improved more after their renovation. Expect to pay little bit more than 24hr fit or Bally's but you'll get your $ worth. Service is great and club is never too crowded. I guess you get what you pay for. Highly recommend to people who wants more than just place to work out.

This is so far the best fitness club I've seen. All the Club One facilities are always clean and not crowded like 24hrs or Ballys. Price might be little higher than others but worth paying every dollar. Free parking at Fillmore center and unlimited towel service and other ammenities such as soap and shampoo. Pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna is all part of the package. For all you racquet sports lover, racquetball and squash court is also availble. Go Club One staff!!! keep up the good work and service.

Pros: Not crowded, Clean Clean Clean, Friendly Staff

Cons: , none, none
