Great food, great service, great atmosphere!.
My girlfriend and I wanted to go somewhere nice for our anniversary, and reserved a table at Azie. Unfortunately, the only time available was 9:00 PM. So, we went ahead and showed up at about 7:45,
figuring we could hang out at the bar for a while until our table was available. How happy were we when they found a spot for us in about 20 minutes!
The service was excellent; attentive but not overbearing; professional but laid back. The food was even better! The space and overall atmosphere was very cool. We will definitely be going back.…
cold re-heated food!. after waiting patiently at our table for an hour, we were served fish and meat that was cold. it seemed slightly reheated and dry as well. our waitor was extremely rude and it was totally obvious that he was walking over to the other waitors to talk smack about us. it was my friend's bday dinner, we were promised a cake, but only handed an overpriced bill.…
A restaurant you have to try!.
I've been going to Azie off and on for the last 4 years. I've always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The reason I'm writing a review now - the last 3 times I've been into the restaurant I've
constantly been amazed at how delicious the food is, and I didn't think it could get better!
I know they have had a few Chef changes, but I think they have found a match with Chef Conrad. This is definately one restaurant that you need to try for yourself. The Shortribs are amazing! And I could make an entire meal out of their appetizers!…
Ruined my valentines' dinner. Very unprofessional "booth policy", the manager and the hostess runs it all!!! Food was ok, lots of other restaurants with better food in the Bay Area. Will never ever go back again.
A good place to focus on your date. This is a very good "first date" place to take that special someone. It has great ambiance, very romantic and the food "family style" is overall satisfying to your pallette. A can get little pricey but well worth it. The ambiance is perfect for a couple that just wants to enjoy good food and each other. If you are on a date, I would suggest to reserve seating that has the drawn curtains...…
This place SUCKS, I would never go back.
I know sucks is a harsh word but when you think about Azie compared to all the other awesome restaurants in SF there is no reason to waste your money there. My girlfiend and I thought it would be
good since we like Lulu, but we were mistaken. The plates were smaller than small plates and priced like big plates and the server never refilled our wine glasses and seemed to have forgotten about us a few times thru the evening. The sauces were kind of weird and the steak entree was about 3 oz. of meat which was way undercooked.
We were expecting so much more from this restaurant from the price and the citysearch rating, but I think it was a waste of $130 and I'll never go to Lulu or Azie again because of it!…
DO NOT GO. HORRIBLE! WORST restaurant!. took 2 hours for food to come out. waitor was non-chalant and rude. Treated us like crap. We went for friend's birthday. "promised" us to make it a special occasion and bring out a cake. Never happened. The food is the size of your fist. Dry... Crappy.. and luke-warm. (reheated). HORRIBLE experience, complete waist of money.…
Looks good, tastes good but very overpriced. We eat out 1-2 times a week and have eaten at most of the best and new restaurants in the city. It's simply overpriced. Don't get me wrong, the food is good, the restaurant is beautiful and the service is good. However, there are places that serve the same quality of Pan-Asian food with the same quality of service for about 25% less.…
Excellent Excellent Excellent. Great interior design. I believe Drew was also our server. He made great recommendations for entrees. Plus looking at the menu alone will salivate your taste buds. The curry dusted fried calamari was delicious. The mouth watering short rib entree practically melts in your mouth. The duck risotto could not be put down. Add then naan bread appitizer with it and the meal is perfect. Didn't try any wine but it's an extensive menu feature Napa and international bottles. I went with friends but it's a great place to go in a group or on a date. Expect to pay at least $50 per person for just appetizer and dinner plus a drink.…
Sterling Service. My Husband and I frequent this restaurant at least 3 times a month for it's stellar French cuisine and artistic atmosphere. Recently, we noticed a new server, who we had the pleasure of meeting Saturday night. Drew had the warmth of a natural charismatic leader, and he went out of his way to recommend choice wines and even local wineries to tour, as we were planning a trip to Napa on Sunday. Any patron who does not find him helpful and attentive is either extremely impatient or crazy. As regular customers of Azie, my wife and I take pride in conversing with those who make our meal a pleasant experience and we look forward to seeing Drew in the months to come.…
