I don't normally write reviews but I'm a little bit upset. I purchased shoes online from Bulo, then I realised that the sizing of the particular brand might be different from normal sizes i wear by visiting the manufacturer's web site. I contacted the store via e-mail and phone to ask them NOT to send the shoes. (Immediately after the order)...still, 12 hours later they sent them out. OK... fine, I can return them... or so I thought. I sent the shoes insured mail, the manager contacted me to say he'd give me a refund for the shoes as well as the shipping since they had made a mistake. Then everyone went quiet and I never saw the money. A month later, still no refund. I contact the store a few times, I sent a certified letter... NOTHING. Today I called my credit company and filed a dispute. Why am I waisting my time writing this review? I don't like to be negative, but if you have an online business, please make sure your e-mail works... OR OPEN YOUR MAIL? I'm tired of calling and discussing the issue with various employees who tell me to call back another time when someone in charge is around... One lesson learned is: DON'T BUY ANYTHING ONLINE FROM THIS PLACE.

I would highly recommend bulo to any girl in SF or visiting, they have amazing unique shoes, plus the best boot selection ever. the staff are nice, laid back and helpful. if you don't live in SF, check out their website, where you can buy anything from the store, i shop from it all the time!
Pros: boots!, website, unique shoes

i bought a full price pair of thong sandals(i paid app. $150) here in late july and the *day after i bought them* they broke! i took them back minutes after (i thankfully work only a 2 minute drive away) and asked them to replace the shoes. they refused to replace them, and said the most they could do was send them to a cobbler and have them fixed free of charge. when i got them back a week later, the OPPOSITE shoe has excess glue around the bindings (??!) and they denied that it was their fault. the salespeople were snooty and rude, the manager was snotty and the overall feel was very haughty. i would rather buy from a store like nordstroms that respects their customers.
Pros: trendy looking shoes
Cons: bad customer service, rude staff, cheap shoes

i have 15 pair of shoes from Bulo. They are best known for their excellent italian boots. I spent 5 weeks in Italy looking for better stock and couldn't find it. I highly recommend this store for fashionable girls who love Italian leather. The staff is really friendly and they've helped me many times. I'm a Bulo addict!!!!
Pros: service, quality, Italian
