i went with a few friends and the place is really not what i had expected. the promoters need to have better music and prettier girls. the bouncers need to stop the fights rather than letting it progress. it is very expensive for what it is worth. if i were you, i would try to go somewhere else. also the promoters are very dishonest and lie to cover their mistakes as in getting on a guestlist. how can someone make up a story about why my friends were knocked off the guestlist because of some "computer error" on our end. also be prepared to dance with little children even though it is 21 and over. for the money go elsewhere. the place needs a little more class, order, and probably new management. thanks

the music is crappy and too many immature kids. bouncers let the drunk immature kids (usually friends of the promoters) run around picking fights with people. it is really sad. avoid this place at all costs. you can find a better place elsewhere. the price of the drinks are relatively high, but it is san francisco. cleanliness is not high in this club either.

I went there lastnite and it was kool....but the bad thing is that i couldn't get in there because they said is 21 & up...in the computer doesn't say that. They need to make sure they know their information well. But yeah it seemed like a nice place to take your stress out. They were heka people there. And i could hear the latinos music....la salsa. Hopefully i could get a change to go in there.peace out.

The club is the place to be on Friday nites. I greatly recommend this spot for the individual who is open to the wide mixture of races and faces. Love the scene and the venue.

The club is not the best one I have been to, but you are sure to have a good time. The clubbers are usually more toward the latino side. Upstairs is the salsa room and the main floor is hip hop.

Echoing some of what was already mentioned, my group had a problem with the guest list. Arrived with a fairly large group (14 ppl) which most of us signed up for the guest list on sfclubs.com. Once we got to the front of the line, none of us were on the list. The guy working the door basically said we'd need our confirmation emails to get in. Our group (which was about half of the line) all got ready to leave and they decided to let us in... which was a nice gesture. Once inside, the layout was really nice. Played really good hip-hop music. The other con was extremely sloooooooow service at the bar. It was almost pathetic. I'm a guy, so maybe that was a disadvantage because it seemed women got served a little sooner... but still very slow. Bars were definitely understaffed.

they've done a lot of modifications to the club recently which makes it a little cooler than most other clubs around town, but all in all, this is your average san francisco club - slightly on the upscale side, but not really. friday nights are always hip hop, so you can always bank on a decent crowd for fridays at NV. sometimes, they are a little on the "ghetto" side, though. the parent company likes to turnover their bartenders so you never can get good service from the same bartender. most often than not, the bartenders are lagging and can't get the drinks out fast enough

Even if you are on the guest list, there's still a good chance that you'll end up paying the admission after a long wait in line. The only other drawback is that it can get pretty crowded and the one area you can get fresh air is packed with smokers. Aside from this, the music, drinks, and atmoshere is pretty cool.

well its been a while since i have been here but i know that when i ddi go...it was fun....they had hottttt guys there...and good music...the only bad thing that i could see was that it did get overly crowded after awhile but all in all it was good.

I had signed up for the guestlist, but when I got there they said I wasn't on it. So I had to go home and print up the email confirmation they sent me, then drive all the way back the club. Nobody was dancing till really late in the night. Looks like the crowd was there to just look pretty. To top it off the music wasn't that great, even if you are drunk. Drinks are pricey, but the bartenders are nice and lively. It's worth going if you get in free on the guestlist
