I have been to 20 or 30 games over the last two years at AT&T Park and I can say i've only been to 1 A's game in Oakland and one in spring ball. The Spring ball stadium is nicer than the one in Oakland. I've been to a few other Parks but have yet to get the total package like ya do with AT&T. I've sat in just about every section in the Park and if you go for that view behind home plate in the nose bleeds, take sunscreen, and don't drink. It can be a very steep stumble down after 3 or 4 trips to the stands. if it's a night game and you have thin skin, get seats up near the left field foul pole. you can duck inside and watch the game through the glass and be 20 feet from a bar overlooking the kids playing home run derby and the game. Stay away from the trolley in right center. I want to jab my drink straw in the next dink that rings the bell for a half inning non stop. It's a ball park folks, it's gonna be expensive. If you're low on cash, stay somewhere within 12 blocks of the stadium, walk, eat before you go to the game, don't drink or do. That'll be the cash you waste. Center field behind the scoreboard is tons of food and things for the kids. Enjoy the 3-5 hours you spend at the park. Win or lose, you'll have a good time. If you're large, sorry, do you use the extended strap when you fly on airplanes? Thats not a me problem, thats a YOU problem. say no to the 3 big macs and snackin all day playin video games and watchin soaps. If you are Fat cause of thyroid or binge eating, i think thats a handicap. get those seats or just watch through the fence in right field for 3 innings, catch your cab, and go back to the hotel with the loaded fridge. Since we're ringing in with sizes, i'm 5'11'' and 230 and i fit fine in every seat.

OK so we all go to the games but have you ever seen what the park looks like behind the scenes. Take the $10 tour and see the press box, inside batting cages, the visitors dugout and more. It's really cool and only takes a couple of hours. You can buy tickets online or buy them at the park. I had family in from the east coast and they loved it. Check it out!

Pac Bell aka AT&T Park is one of the most awesome ballparks on the face of the planet. I follow the A's and the Giants and I like both teams but sorry A's fan about your post. The Coliseum is dreadfully outdated and if you think the Giants ballpark is in a bad neighborhood I have feared for my life being in the area around the A's park; it's total g-etto. The A's do deserve better. But this is suppose to be about Pac Bell (I hate the "new" AT&T). This is the greatest of the new modern era ballparks with nearly no bad seats in the house. Awesome food, spectacular scenery of the Bay, an incredible array of delicious food, just about any kind of beer or drink on earth is available; by far way vast improvement over the 'Stick. I hear they have a new hi def scoreboard this season and last season they replaced all the tube tv's with flat panels so when you go to get those garlic fries which are to die for, you can watch the plays while standing in line. I've been to Wrigley and it is a monument to it's era but when it comes to enjoying the old ballgame in a modern era the Giants ballpark is the place to be 1000% hands down. Just be sure to bring a lot of $$$ to enjoy the food and beer with; it isn't cheap. But it's totally worth it.
Pros: Awesome sightlines, greatest concessions and drink selection ever, location
Cons: Parking - take mass transit you can't park here, food is expensive

LOL @ the A's fan, of course u didn't have problems with the seats in Oakland, you have an entire row to yourself, as do the rest of the 8,000 A's fans that show up for a game. If I'm not mistaken, didn't they shut off the 3rd level now too, so that it doesn't look like a mausoleum instead of a coliseum? In any case, I've been to Pac Bell, Comerica, Skydome, McAfee, and well, I live in Chicago so of course Wrigley and Comiskey too, and Pac Bell is definitely a close 2nd behind Wrigley, just ahead of Comiskey.
Pros: New era ballpark with old time atmosphere
Cons: That right field fence has more to do with Bonds numbers than steroids do

Get Skinny, go back to Mt. Davis and start hugging Mike Piazza. Apparently you're not not a city dweller of SF, especially if you got problems with the homeless around the city. I'm sure when they build that stadium in Fremont you'll be all over that statue of Jose Canceco. And why the hell are you attacking fans on this site? Do you have a life you loser? AND STOP USING CAPITAL LETTERS, WE CAN READ FINE WITHOUT YOU USING CAPS LOCK... I love the Giants and I love this city. I wouldn't say there are problems with the stadium, it just has it's quirks. Sure beats Candlestick at 11 pm in an extra innings games. Still have my Croix pins as a purple heart when I was a kid. I can do without the corporate people, but that's the tradeoff I guess for a grand stadium. When it comes to food, just make sure you get there early, that's when you see the fresh food coming out. Gotta love the Irish Nachos, Cha Cha's, Baby Bulls, and of course the garlic fries. Already a lot of history made at this stadium. I love the Giants and I love the true fans! Let's take the West and more! GO GIANTS!
Pros: The Giants of course. Better weather than the 'Stick.
Cons: Too family and suit friendly. Beating up Dodger fans is out of style aparently...

I have been across the Bay to see Oakland play a few times... and its just not as good as at&t.......I love PacBell aka at&t park....Have lived in the Bay area most of my life...anyone who posts negative about my beloved stadium, is either a rival of the Giants, or jealous of our beautiful park on the Bay......There is wheelchair accessability...right down from where I sit, there is an entire row for handicap, and wheelchairs can use the ramps....the food is awesome... the park is awesome, its a good time at PACBELL....AT&T..........If there are people who do not like our park, then, they don't need to go to the park....another park I found nice was the Old Wriggley Field in Chicago... it is authentic...very cool...so is the RedSox stadium
Pros: great park....im there for the game
Cons: parking

WELL I SEE SOME PEOPLE HAD A FEW THINGS TO SAY ABOUT MY REVIEW. HUNNYKINS: OF COURSE YOUR HUSBAND WOULD BE COMFORTABLE I WOULD HAVE BEEN TOO IF I CAN AFFORD TO GET SUITES. DID YOU EVEN SIT ON THE FEILD SEATS? FROMT THE SOUND OF IT NO. AND TO SFGIANTSFAN22 YES I HAVE GONE TO GIANTS GAMES BUT I PREFER A WINNING TEAM THAT DOESN'T REQUIRE STEROIDS TO JUST KEEP UP WITH THE REST OF THE LEAGUE. AND A PERSON WHO DRIVES TO THE PARK IS A PERSON WHO HAS SEEN SECURITY FOOTAGE OF BART AND SEEN HOMELESS PEOPLE MASTER BATING ON THE SEATS AND NEXT TIME YOU TAKE BART SLAM THE SEAT WITH YOUR HAND AND WATCH HOW MUCH DEBRIS FLOATS THROUGH THE AIR. BOTTOM LINE IS WHEN I GO THE SEATS ON LOWER LEVEL ARE GARBAGE AND I WAS NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH A PROBLEMS WITH THIS. AS I SAID THE STADIUM IS NICE BUT SEATING IS CRAMMED TOGETHER AND SMALL. AND YES FOOD IS NOT SO GOOD. THE NACHOS HAD STALE CHIPS THE PRETZELS WERE COLD AND NO NACHO CHEESE WAS NOT AVAILABLE FOR PRETZELS UNLIKE OAKLAND AND LIKE SOMEONE ELSES REVIEW SAID NO CONSESSION PEOPLE HARDLY AROUND. AND IF SFGIANTSFAN22 IS SUCH A FAN WHY IS HE CALLING IN PAC BELL PARK IT HASN'T BEEN PAC BELL PARK FOR 2 YEARS. AND HUNNYKINS THE OAKLAND ATHLETICS HAD A BETTER YEAR THAN THE ROYALS, GIANTS AND DODGERS PRETTY GOOD FOR TEAM NOT IN EXISTENCE. AT&T PARK IS STILL OVER RATED.

As a long time Giants fan, I very much appreciate the Giant ownership groups effort in erecting A T & T Park. The group listened to fans suggestions, toured all the ballparks in America and took all their best features and ideas, picked a wonderful building location transportation-wise (that also helped rejuvanate its neighborhood) and incorporated all of this into one beautiful package. For a fan that saw the team nearly leave San Francisco twice, I can take comfort in knowing that not only will the team not threaten to leave again, but that as a San Franciscan I will always have this amazing place to watch baseball. A T & T Park is the ballpark that San Franciscans wanted for so many years, and after all the many failed ballot measures both in SF and elsewhere it feels great to call it our own. In regards to the negative post left by the person complaining about the size of the seats, I had not heard that complaint until now-and the park is entering its 8th season of baseball in 2 weeks. The food isn't cheap, but it is tasty. If the prices inside are a little steep for you, there are many places within one block of the ballpark (including a Safeway supermarket) one could get food ranging from sandwiches to pizza to ice cream- and the Giants let you bring it in the park. A true testament of the lure of the park is the Giants sub-.500 records in recent seasons and the fans 3 million-plus attendance in spite of that. This park is a must-see regardless of if you like baseball or not.
Pros: Beauty and smiles in every direction, fun and excitement
Cons: hmm....whenever a Dodger fan visits San Francisco?

I believe I said we sat in the stadium seats during a tour that is offered. I actually grew up in Phx so I saw many many teams play, way before steroids became a problem, during spring training. I have always loved SF, the city, and am still impressed with the ballpark. I am a Dodger fan because my dad is, coming from when they were the Brooklyn Dodgers , as he is from NY. Daughters can follow in the passions of their fathers, you know. However, having lived for years in So Cal, and now living in Kansas City, I have a thing against Oakland, even if it isn't baseball related <smile>
Pros: ambiance, view, being in SF
Cons: being able to see Oakland

Don't listen to the previous guy, saying to GET SKINNY. The review was asking for his opinion of the BALL PARK, not how large he is or how he generalizes everyone in SF as gay and skinny. If you don't like the seats then don't go...PacBell Park is for real Giants fans, not those who go there for Motocross and Monster Truck shows, then drive down to Oakland for a ball game. PacBell park is amazing! The best food: What other park can you get rice bowls, hot dogs and GB garlic fries all in one place? Just do a little exploring around the park and you'll find different food stands everywhere! Beer too! The prices will be high, but they are in line with everything else in SF so it shouldn't be a big surprise to anyone. The view: I can't even put the view into words... The weather: Yes, it can get cold but again...it's SF and you are sitting in a park that is built on the water. This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone either. Besides, what Californians consider cold and what the rest of the world consider cold are drastically different. You'll be fine with a sweatshirt...a Giants sweatshirt. The parking: Who in the world drives in SF? Not anyone who lives there, that's for sure. Public Transportation is more than accomodating and you have your choice of MUNI, BART and the Ferries. For the third time...not a big surprise that the park doesn't revolve around convenient parking in a city like SF. In short, it's the best ball park EVER!!! BEAT LA!!
Pros: Variety of great food, Great fans, Public transportation
Cons: Garlic Breath from the amazing Garlic Fries
