Lynn at Elegant Tailoring has made getting my ideal wedding attire one of the most enjoyable and simple parts of my entire wedding. I've been going to her for over 5 years for all of my tailoring needs, so it was natural to have her help me for my wedding. She custom ordered a dress that suited my modest style, that arrived completely ready to wear! She stayed late hours even though she is busy with her new family to complete my custom-designed temple dress- which was EXACTLY what I wanted. She is honest about what styles work and offers the best prices I have seen in the bay area, with the best and most personal customer service. Lynn truly cares about her customers, makes sure all of their needs are met in their own timeline and charges a fair price for superior workmanship.

I highly recommend Elegant Tailoring. I brought in 6 expensive suits for alterations and was very pleased with the results. I had previously made the mistake of taking these same suits to a dry cleaner that did alternations (as recommended by a friend); the alterations were so poorly done that I thought my suits had been ruined. (For example, the jackets with creases and buttons on the sleeves came back without the creases and buttons.) I finally took these suits to Elegant Tailoring in hopes that they could somehow be salvaged. Linh, the owner, was very helpful and was happy to work with me to try to "fix" the previous alterations. When I went in to pick up the suits, I was amazed by what had been done. My suits looked as good as new and, aside for the fact that they were now fit to my size, they did not look like they had been altered. Linh had even done some tricks on the sleeves to create a new crease and put the buttons back where they belonged. I could not have been happier with the results. For high-quality professional alterations and exceptional service at reasonable prices, Elegant Tailoring is the place to go!

I was very pleased with the wedding gown alterations I received from Elegant Tailoring. Linh (the owner) handles customers herself and is pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable. Unlike most of the wedding industry, I did NOT feel like she was out to take advantage of me; Linh is a genuine person. She made alteration recommendations that helped the gown flatter my larger figure and ensure that I looked great on my wedding day. I would highly recommend.

My Fianc and I purchased a $2000.00 dress from a consultant and had a great time picking out the dress. The problem began when we wanted a picture; we were not able to take a picture until we bought the dress which was after she had tried it on. The consultant said to go to the web site and there wasn't one. We tried to get them to get us a swatch or anything and all we got was sorry. We had to wait 4 months until the dress came in to get a picture. Once the dress was in they said they didn't have anyone to alter the dress and we had to take it elsewhere. They had promised that for $2000.00 everything was included and we even paid extra for the hem and a veil. Once again Sorry was all we got form them. After I was furious regarding the poor service, all Laura (the Owner) wanted to know was, "when we were going to pick up the dress" obviously they wanted their money and did not care about the trouble. When I said I don't know when we would be in to pick up the dress, she threatened to take us to small claims court if we didn't come and get the dress. I have never been treated so poorly and would not recommend this store to my worst enemy. I also did not want o giver her money for the veil but she wouldn't budge on anything, all she wanted was money, very very greedy and the prices were outrageous. We will be in to pick up the dress but I regret having to give my money to such greedy people. I would rather give them my $1000.00 deposit than take the dress for another $1000.00 but obviously they would like to take a customer to court, so I guess I have to pay money to a company that swindles people and threatens to take you to court. There are plenty of nice places, I recomend to take your business elsewhere."

I recently got married and I found my wedding gown at Elegant Tailoring and Bridal. I was very pleased with the customer service and I recommend all my friends to stop by and take a look. The prices are very reasonable and they carry the best quality and name brand dresses you might find at some of the over priced department stores. I got so many compliments on my wedding dress and I enjoyed seeing the look on everyones faces when I told them how inexpensive it was. The next event I go to, Elegant tailoring will be my first place to shop!

I found out about Elegant Tailoring on citysearch and gave them a try. I brought in a suit for alterations and couldn't be happier. The sleeves looks just like the orignal except it fits. They put all the buttons back. Now I know I can trust them with my more expensive suits.

i've taken my jeans to other places and never went back to any of them, but i plan to go back to this place. my jeans were ready the next day and they were tailored perfectly, also the price was very reasonable and cheaper than most places i've been. i highly recommend!

Elegant Tailoring provided expert alteration. I brought in some pants to be altered, and they did an excellent job. They had great, friendly people working there. They did high, quality work on my clothes. The store owner was knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. Overall, I recommend them for all your alteration needs. They even sell Bridal gowns, too. My GF and I will also be buying our bridal gown from them. They were nice to us.

Linh (The owner) was very helpful! She only recommends what you can afford, or what makes you look great as a bride. For example, I would like to have French bustle for my wedding gown. Instead, Linh recommended me the regular bustle and showed me how beautiful my wedding gown is with the regular bustle. No hidden cost, delay in delivery or tricky sales like some bridal stores do. This store also has elegant selections of bridal, bridesmaids, flower girl & mother of the bride gown with reasonable price! I would recommend this store to all brides to be in SF Bay area!
