We chose All Seasons from a large list of possible caterers for our 2005 wedding. Great first impressions, I must say. The event coordinator and head chef were very helpful, offered terrific tips and recommendations, and were open and honest about what they could and could not do for us. We were treated to an INCREDIBLE tasting several months in advance of the wedding and, based on that experience, were wholly excited to book them. We felt certain that the food at our wedding would be the major highlight of the evening. Unfortunately, we were very, very wrong. The appetizers were greasy and rubbery, the sides were all overcooked and soggy, the salmon was bland and was not accompanied by the delicious sauce we were promised at the tasting, the beef, overdone, bland, and lukewarm, the mixed green salad that was supposed to have cranberries, Gorgonzola, walnuts, and a vinaigrette had NONE of those (no, not even a dressing), and the fresh artisan breads tasted at least a day old. My husband and I are big SF foodies, so naturally we were quite embarrassed to serve our 70 guests food this poor food, especially when we had been so impressed by the tasting and by the promises made for quality ingredients and professional preparation. We were refunded a (very) small sum to cover the missing salad condiments and the salmon sauce, but we feel this was far too small a gesture to make up for completely dropping the ball. We paid for top quality dishes and instead we received school cafeteria food. I will say that the wait staff was very professional and did a nice job setting up the dining room and granting simple guest requests. This accounts for the one star I'm giving. I cannot and would not recommend All Seasons.

Pros: Waitstaff

Cons: Bland food, poor presentation, sloppy preparation
