East meets West in Marin

I loved this place growing up and recently visited and noticed that it hasn't lost its touch. The fish is fresh, the sushi is flavorful, the Chinese food is robust with flavor and is always properly accompanied with the right veggies and rice or noodles.

The sushi chefs are awesome and sweet. They make you feel welcome and hold great conversations.

Rock on, Yu Shang!

• Pros: The food, dang it!
• Cons: May be too casual for the pretensious.

Best Sushi In Marin!

I have been going to Yu Shang for years, I can?t ever get enough. This place has so many special rolls; the crab special is my personal favorite. The punk rock-n-roll and three stooges? rolls are also amazing. The fish is always fresh and if you?re not feeling like sushi, the Chinese food is great too. They have a huge selection of lunch specials that will fill you up and leave you wanting more. The staff is super friendly and so are the other customers.
