I used Rent Tech a few months ago to try to find a new place to live here in San Francisco. There were a few problems that I found with the service - one was that I wasn't being notified when I recevied new listings. That was frustrating. Another problem was that after calling and expressing interest in properties that were listed, some of the landlords never returned my call. I never did find an apartment through them after a month of searching. With this being a renters market right now, save your money and just check the listings on Craigslist.
