One of those old Berkeley businesses with friendly people and an eclectic selection. Right on Telegraph near Aomeba. I recommend it for the total Berkeley experience.

Absolutely the best old and new. 4 floors!! If you can't find something here, you're not really looking.

the sales staff is really helpful, and nice, too. the prices are extremely reasonable, and there are always books there that you might not find in other bookstores. it's also a good place for people watching...go to the foreign language section, that fronts the street, and just hang out by the open window and look down below at the people walking past.
Pros: good staff, good prices, good finds
