I have lived here for 7 years and I love the environment. Besides the apartments (Studio, 1 BED, 2 BED) there are also 3 houses on the site. It was built in 1954 so there is no dishwasher (besides yourself) and no A/C. The first review was written by a close neighbor and I agree with everything she says. She is also a great neighbor. I moved out of a 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo when my children left the nest to live here. I wanted a cozy little place just for me. If you are Danish then this place is HYGGE. There is lots of nature here. Trees, lawns, birds and squirrels. I even saw a possum one night who had wandered up from the Napa River. The people are a good mix of young and older which I like. The noisy neightbor from New York just left and we now have a winemaker and his wife and infant. I'm from San Francisco orignally and I like the feel of the place. Not small town nosy neighbors but there when you need them and friendly. The staff is very competent and polite which reflects positively on the owner. They even called me on vacation in Indiana when a pipe burst several years ago. Safe affordable housing is one of my main concerns as a Social Work Supervisor and I am thankful that I have found it for myself here. There is a nice pool and it is invisible due to the ivy covering the fence around it. I have 2 parking spots, one covered for my camper van and one in front of my place. I also have a storage unit where I keep all my camping supplies. These units are perfect for someone starting out or downsizing who do not want/need alot of square footage. I redecorated with IKEA products because I am a Scandinavian and love good design that has multiple uses. If I moved away I would definitely come back.

Pros: Safe Affordable Great Environment

I've lived here for almost 2 years. This place is awesome! It's surrounded by trees and flowers and they recently paved the street so it's super smooth. The management is so nice. Stephanie, who's in the office, was so nice to my boyfriend and I when we first came. Our income didn't quiet meet their requirements so they dropped the deposit down for us. We could afford rent and everything, but the deposit was a little high. The apartments are a little small (400-450 sq ft for 1 bd/1 bath) but we made it work. Rent is $875/month for 1 bd/1bath and they pay for water and garbage. If ever something broke the maintenance guy would be there right away. Lately they have been busy because of the repaving so one of our calls wasn't answered. But 99% of the time they will come and fix whatever needs fixing. One "weird" thing is that the front door is a sliding glass door. I'm used to this because that's how it was at my parents house, but my bf wasn't used to it. But it's so safe here. I've accidentally left my car doors unlocked, my ipod right there on my dash, and no one broke into my car. I leave my door open all day for my cat to go in and out and I don't have to worry about weirdo's coming in. I have never felt so comfortable anywhere besides at my parents house. Oh and it's so great if you have a cat. You get a little front lawn and my cat loves to lay out there in the grass. The neighbors are nice and quiet. Only complaint is that if you live downstairs you can hear the person upstairs walking around. The girl above us is a little loud and stomps (she moved here from New York) and doesn't really keep in mind that people live around her. But other than that, people here are nice. Mainly family's and older people live here. Guest parking isn't that great, but I don't have guests over really so it doesn't bother me. No A/C which is bad since Napa does get hot so invest in an A/C. It's an older complex, but I would definitely live here again.

Pros: Clean, quiet, safe, affordable

Cons: little guest parking, no A/C, units are a little small, old complex
