The place is a "dive bar" for real. But, the woman behind the bar was nice and attentive. A band called the "Usual Suspects" were playing and they sucked...forgot the words to songs and when they remembered the words, they couldn't sing anyway...maybe it was better they forgot the words. Still...if you don't want to pay a cover charge to hear some local music, and don't care that the music you hear is lousy, this is the place to go for a quick beer.

Pros: No cover charge...but then who would pay?

Cons: Dive bar in shady area

One of the few places in town with live music. The variety of local talent includes, rock, hip-hop, and blues. There is a great large dance floor, that is usually well-utilized by the patrons. The decor could use a face lift and the staff turn over is alarming, but kudos for the long term commitment to providing a venue for live local music.

Pros: live local music and dancing, upbeat atmosphere

Cons: service can be inconsistent, facility maintenance is spotty
