A good chinese food restaurant in Foster City. I love this restaurnt, it's a hidden gem. Not the fanciest, but the tastiest. All the dishes have a great homemade taste to them. They have wondeeful wonton soup, pork spare ribs, beef with oyster sauce, and a personal favorite of mine is there vegetable egg foo yung. We also enjoy there walnut prawns and sweet and sour pork. The service is always great and the place is clean. As one the other reviewers wrote, the potstickers are very good! And finally, I enjoy the fact that it is always quiet their and I can enjoy good conversation with my family whie enjoying a god meal. PS, parking is very easy. Don't miss out on this place.

Authentic Chinese food. Yes, this is a little know place nestled in Foster City but what a gem. It's family owned and run, just as friendly as can be. We eat there probably once a week because it just has good comfort food. Some of our favorites are: beef stew is so tasty and tender, we normally have their with wonton and fun in soup, the preserved cabbage with shredded pork with noodle is SO GOOD, the stuffed fried tofu, their rice noodles are the best regardless of how you want it - in soup or stir fried - it's always perfectly cooked. They make their own chili sauce and it's very tasty. Last but not least, they have the best fortune cookie :)

Best Potstickers. I've been eating here for years. Not a lot of people know about this place because it's a family owned a little hole in the wall I call it. There are a lot of homemade dishes that are good eats.

I love the potstickers here. It may take some time to make it but at the end it's so worth the wait. It's not like the frozen or the ones are are really hard that you would find from a lot of other chinese restaurant. You can taste the freshness of it.

The food here just doesn't taste like the other restaurants I've been to I always get the after taste of a lot of MSG which at Lotus DOES NOT have that's why I perfer to eat there instead.
