Breast cancer fundraisr – In aug we held a fundraiser for Susan g koman and were to get 15percent which they said would be $240.00 it took me a month to fight to get that much info. We still have not recd a check service was very poor management horrible and courtesy not. If you go there ask them why they do not hold up to their word.
Atmosphere rules at this French New Orleans-themed spot that serves traditional American fare. – In Short
Decorated like a French country bistro with jazzy New Orleans overtones, Mimi's Café was named after a lost love of Arthur Simms, who started the restaurant in 1978 in Anaheim, Calif., with his family. The ambience could only be upstaged by the menu filled with traditional American favorites. Breakfast includes omelets, waffles, muffins and fresh-squeezed juices, while lunch and dinner feature comfort-food classics like pot pie and pot roast, deli-style sandwiches, burgers, pastas, steaks and salads.
Wonderful, cute, decent place! – Went here with a friend and oh my goodness it was just great! The prices aren't that high, food is nice not bland, and the service was pretty good. I like where it's setup as well. Parking is wonderful, wait is only about 10-15 mins. which was really nice. The cafe has a comfortable feeling and you have food that you're sure to love. If you want to know why I didn't give it a 5 star was because sometimes like the other Citysearch user said that the waiters/waitresses aren't always behind your back and they don't usually come when you need them to. But..... eventually, they come.
I recommend this place and I would go to Mimi's Cafe again.
Not your typical mall restaurant – This is the spot for flavorful American food without a bunch of hokey sauces dumped on top -- chicken pot pie (my favorite, beats every one I've tried in the Bay Area), pot roast, that kind of thing. The fish dishes are always moist but still hot and done. A great little bread plate always comes with, but don't get too many refills since you won't be able to do dessert.
I've taken some really cranky eaters here that always seem to find some problem wherever we go. But there have been no complaints about Mimi's from them, EVER. I like it all.
This one (only one I've been to) has immaculate service from a pro staff. They're there when needed but don't hang on your elbow.
If you don't know the area well, get a map or call for directions.
A good chain – Never heard of the place since the closest restaurant to my home is in Dublin. Went there with a friend and had a nice lunch of southern-fried chicken salad, which was a special that Sunday. It comes with a choice of muffin; I got the blueberry and it was moist and hot off the oven, real yummy considering it said it was low-fat on menu. The place has a nice country kitchen decor. Good place for the after-church crowd as my friend calls it.
