The first Togo's opened in 1968 near California's San Jose State University, serving simple, sizeable sandwiches. Today, the same freshly prepared subs are ordered at the counter where diners choose their bread and toppings. Cold options include the signature avocado and turkey with all-white breast meat, and the Italian--salami, capicolla, mortadella, provolone and cotto. Popular hot subs include the pastrami, piled high with mustard. Veggie sandwiches, soups and salads round out the menu.

Yummy sandwiches and salads. However service is so so.... Been to many togo's and the quality of the food is standard just like any other. Not sure if it's because it was busy during lunch but the service was not exactly top notch. No smiles or thank you's. There was a long line and they seemed to be trying to get our order in as fast as possible. Luckily they did get my order right. Sandwiches are not deli quality but hey it's worth it for the price.
