Great food for the price. Thai Satay has great food for the price. They have a good selection and variety on their menu. Nice outdoor seating when the weather is nice. Not a large patio, but it is very good when there is seating available.

It's become "our place". My husband and I decided to look no further when we found this restaurants. The staff is friendly and curteous, they remember who you are and what you like to eat. The atmosphere is romantic (they light candles after dark) the decor is authenically Thai and the food is consistenly delicious! My husband visited Thailand and confirmed... Thai Satay makes an authentic Tom Ka Gai! And it's very reasonably priced, a couple can eat DINNER for under $20!

amazing food!. wow, i've been to many thai restaurants but this is my absolutely fav!! from day one, i've always gotten the same dishes because it is absolutely delicious! try the fried prawns, sauteed vegetables, green curry and thai basil chicken. try this place...you won't regret it!

Staple Thai cuisine. The food is very good and the waitresses are very attentive. The prices are a little high, and parking can be a problem (as it always is in downtown San Mateo).
