In Short – A small alcove provides the stage for live entertainment, which typically plays every Friday and Saturday night. Things can get tight, with two pool tables and the midsection of the room creating a U shape, but small tables allow for group interaction. As a bonus: several TVs, including a giant flat screen and air shots of the stage area. Drinkwise, there's typical liquors and staples like Stella, Guinness and Red Hook.

Editor's Tips

Know Before You Go:
The pool tables are covered when bands are performing.
When to Go:
There is free entertainment 5 nights a week. Call for schedule.

Great Small Venue

by lord_humongous at Citysearch

Grant & Green is a nice small bar to see a band play. And if you can't see the band don't worry, there is a video camera sending a signal to all the TV's in the bar. This is also a pretty clean bar with non-scary bathrooms. The best part is that all of the employees were very nice and helpful.

  • Pros: Good Service, Good Music, Clean Bathrooms
  • Cons: No Parking

Great Music Great Crowd

by karen02 at Citysearch

Always a terrific spot to hear music, see diverse crowds and sip your drink of choice. This place has been around forever and never get stale. It is clean, up beat but not stuffy. The crowd is diverse and casual with live music to keep the moods high. Never a bad time.
