A small alcove provides the stage for live entertainment, which typically plays every Friday and Saturday night. Things can get tight, with two pool tables and the midsection of the room creating a U shape, but small tables allow for group interaction. As a bonus: several TVs, including a giant flat screen and air shots of the stage area. Drinkwise, there's typical liquors and staples like Stella, Guinness and Red Hook.

It really is strange and very unexpected that they do karaoke at the Grant and Green bar, but they do. Its such a dingy, kind of divey bar, and then you see dudes in there singing up a storm. Its a fun place, but I would never go out of my way to go there. In fact, I dont think its all that fun. If youre going to spend $4 for a beer, go to any of the hundreds of better bars in North Beach.

Grant & Green is a nice small bar to see a band play. And if you can't see the band don't worry, there is a video camera sending a signal to all the TV's in the bar. This is also a pretty clean bar with non-scary bathrooms. The best part is that all of the employees were very nice and helpful.
