Editorial Review for Adventure Cat Sailing Charters – by Ryan Sommer

In Short
Adventure Cat is a 55-foot catamaran, complete with a full bar and a 360-degree, protected viewing area for those who don't like the wind in their faces. With cruises three times daily during summer months from Pier 39, this adventure takes a little prior planning. The sunset cruise includes light hors d'oeurves and fills up quickly, so be sure and call ahead.

The trip was great! The atmosphere isn't the most romantic date spot, but the fact that its freezing at sunset makes snuggling a must. 1.5 hours is plenty long. Do your nice dinner beforehand, considering what you will look like after having your head blown off as you circle underneath the Golden Gate. The views are spectacular, the crew is really cool, and the boat is big and safe. Can't wait to do it again next year during the heat spell!

Pros: Nice jackets provided on board.

Cons: Cold & rocky!

i took this sail in oct. 01 and it still comes to mind almost daily.the crew was great ,the ownership went way beyond all expectations to accomodate me ,the views were tremendous, its impossable for me to see a picture of SF on tv without remembering the thrill of the wind in the sails .if you can do 1 thing in your visit to SF, this is it ,you see the city ,alcatraz and go under the golden gate bridge ,i cant wait to do it again.

Pros: views are great, adventurous sail, memory will last fore

Cons: none
