Weird and Fun. Your sense of humor is requisite for a good time here! Everyone has a story, some sad, some outrageous. Just be sure to beware who you make eye-contact with -- you might never get away. A terrific blend of eccentric folk. If you're polite, the service is excellent. Make sure to ask for Jeannie. Sometimes one of the regulars cooks for the bar & everyone is welcome.

If you like dives, you cant miss this. This place brings the weird in a BIG way. If you're lucky, you'll walk right in and get a seat at the bar(that's not the lucky part) while the bartender is completely hammered (hold for the lucky part) and playing liar's dice (this is the lucky part). Screaming at you to take a shot without having asked you what you want (in a humorous way), if you don't freak out, you'll be welcomed immediately - and captive for a couple of hours until you awake face down on your floor. Reborn as a "regular."

Best Dive in San Francisco. Just walk in, take an always-available seat at the bar, and before you know it, Jenny the bartender will have poured you many. You can't walk out of this bar without meeting the most interesting, toothless characters. You also can't walk out sober.
