Ok – Pizza is great, everything else is average... wait staff needs some help... Food came on dirty plates and drinks came in dirty glasses. Waitress had food in her hair and seemed like she didnt want us there. I think there are better choices on Pier 39.

Very Poor least this location! – North Beach Pizza @ Pier 29 SF....NOT WORTH IT!

My boyfriend Jayson said he's had their pizza before & it was pretty good...just never ate @ "THIS" location. NEVER AGAIN!!! Across the board VERY POOR SERVICE!!

Lured in when the hostess met us outside to hand us a coupon ($5 off buffet) , so we said why not. Got seated right away , got our menus, only for us to wait damn there 20 min for our waitress to come take our order. We ordered buffets plates, drinks, & fries. We get our plates & I head over to the pizza bar. I ask politely/loudly to the 4 employees standing behind the bar, "Is more pizza coming out?" guy says in haste, "Yeah yeah" & turns back to his cowkr. I just stood there in disbelief how quickly I was rudely brushed off. The other guy noticed my face & said, "Ma'am they're coming". Get my salad; dressing seems a lil' runny. Get some sauce for spaghetti; that seems a bit runny. We eat our entire salad & no drinks or fries yet. I taste my BF's chowder; that a lil' runny too. We finish our pasta/pizza & I get up to find our waitress to ask for our tab. The waitress makes her way over to us (2nd visit SINCE our order) w/ a surprised look on her face & asked, "Oh my gosh, are you missing anything?" We were polite, just asked for the tab on 2 buffet plates so we can go. Why did it NOW take this waitress 20 plus min to PICK UP our tab? I left our table to find her to ask for it; THAT was a sign we were ready to go! She finally gets the tab & rings us up. She says, "I won't ask for tip 'cuz I did bad service"....YOU THINK!

Oh, while we waited for our waitress to come pick up our tab, why did we see an emplyee adding water to a bottle of (what looked like) windex? They stretch everything out! That's why the dressing, clam chowder, & tomato sauce was runny. Disguting thought our plates & utensils weren't exactly clean!

Lastly, mind you all this poor service in a restaurant NO WHERE NEAR half way full on a Sat night! We're not going back there!

AVOID!! orrible food and rude staff – Orrible!! rude staff, terrible pasta and so-so pizza. Avoid a place like that, even domino pizza is better. The restroom were dirty with a filty changing table: terrible. The waiter even complain about the tip! Can't get any worst.

not bad – It's not the best pizza in the world, but it's far from the worst. If you want something reliable and decent then this is it. I've never gotten this pizza delivered so this review reflects my in-dining experiences only. The crust is medium thick, doughy and chewy. Not bad if you like this bready style. The topping may be a tad, tad on the bland side but totally palatable. If you like a lot of chesse then you'll like it here because they pack it on. The ambiance is whatever and the service isn't lousy and the pizza's ok so overall not a bad pizza experience.

schweet – Awesome pizza at a reasonable price and available even after midnight! I don't know how many times we've gone bar hopping in North Beach and have had North Beach Pizza delivered or brought back to our table at the bar across the street (Savoy-Tivoli). Cheers!

Could do a lot better – I've ordered from them from time to time because it's close. You'd think that in the middle of "Italy town" it would be easy to get a decent pizza, guess again!! The pizzas here are often burnt, and badly cut when delivered. The consistency of the topping makes it hard to pull a piece with most of it being left in the box. Top dollar for mediocre pizza. Too bad Pizza Orgasmica on Fillmore doesn't deliver.

Slow Delivery, Bland pizza – Pizza is bland, with very little sauce. Toppings are anything but fresh. This place touts the fastest delivery in town, but it takes almost an hour to get delivery to a location 3 blocks away. This place is only good if you have to have delivery in North Beach, and it is after the better places are closed, as many of them do by 10 PM... I've ordered delivery 3 times, and all three times the delivery has been either late or wrong or both.
