It's what a pizzeria should be. - small neighbourhood place, with great selection of pizzas and other Italian dishes. Though I appreciate the Height St. outpost, the Grant Ave. restaurant is quaintly charming, authentic, and worth the occasional wait for a table.

Best Pizza in SF!. The Cable Car is my new favorite pizza (though the BF loves anything with extra pepperoni and peppers!). For take-out or eat-in, the prices are very reasonable for a non-franchised pizza place, the toppings are fresh and plentiful and the crust you'd be happy to eat on it's own - good and yeasty with a dry, toasty bottom (no leaking toppings!) Salads are good as well, though haven't tried any of the pasta dishes. Luckily, my BF and I live in North Beach and he's got their number programmed in his phone for a quick dinner that he can pick up on his way home. The small feeds us both with a few pieces left over for breakfast or lunch the next day. The restaurant itself doesn't have a lot of seating, so don't plan on bringing your baseball team after the game but take them up on their delivery.

Pizza is great!. The pizza is great, dine in area closes too early. Can't recommend their side salad.
