Burgers & Breakfast. My family & I were visiting the North Beach Street Fest & arrived in the late morning. We saw Mo's & saw they had a breakfast menu along with their classic burgers. I ordered the french toast that had cinnamon & powdered suger. LOVED THEM! My hubby had basic eggs, bacon & homefries. Decent. The children, however, went for the enticing burgers. My daughter had a bacon cheeseburger & my son had the "Belly Buster"(hilarious name)& added avocado to it! The marinated mushrooms on the "BB" were the best! My daughter gave a valiant effort & made it through half of hers. My son ended up with 1/3 of his left. It's not 5 star dining, but it did satisfy out appetites!

No Mo!. It probably is the best hamburger in the city, except that it comes with a side of INSECT (brown, with antennas, a hard shell, and six legs - CitySearch won't let me distinguish it's kind). Seriously! The restaurant was crowded so we sat at the counter. Just as I finished the first half of my very delicious burger (Western w/ cheddar) the medium sized insect came out to say hello. It crawled around the counter for a while and then scampered away. Sadly, I did not finish my burger, and sadly, I won't be back to Mo's.

This North Beach burger joint puts a gourmet twist on the all-American sandwich.. In Short
Named after the ringleader of the Three Stooges, North Beach's gourmet version of the all-American burger joint is adorned with black-and-white stills of the comic trio. The menu, of course, focuses on burgers, each featuring a seven-ounce patty and a wide variety of upscale accoutrements like caramelized onions, avocados and blue cheese. Other dishes include kebabs, rotisserie-grilled chicken and fresh salads.

Great burger, great fries, great price. I'm slightly afraid to write this review for fear that the next time I want a great burger, I'll have to wait in line! Mo's makes a great burger - large, homemade bun, toasted, two kinds of deli mustard, options from caramelized onions to blue cheese to guacamole, and great fries cooked fresh. It was the first meal for two that we've been able to find in North Beach for under $20 in a long time - and we'll be back for more!

I Need Mo!. I've been to Barney's, In n Out and a ton of other burger places but as far as I'm concerned, Mo's is the best. Take a 1/3 lb of chuck, grill it over charcoal and thrown in some shoestring, freshly cut fries and you've got yourself a winner. I usually go for the BellyBuster (cheddar, grilled onions) or the Western (BBQ sauce, bacon and chedder) Service is prompt and friendly. There are other items on the menu such as meat loaf, chicken and gasp, salads, but stick with the burgers if you're not a vegetarian...

Best burgers - bar none. Mo's delivers the best and freshest burgers possible. The meat is ground fresh each day and the fries are made from real potatoes. That, and expert cooking on a huge grill at the front of the restaurant makes for a very juicy, unadulterated burger.

Best burger in town. Best burger in town. It's really steak so you can get it cooked like civilized people eat meat. Fries are great too.

Gotta go for the burgers. I have always loved hamburgers, but at this point in my life, I only eat them at Mo's. After trying Mo's for the first time, all others are completely disappointing and not worth ordering. Get the bacon and cheese options, and don't forget the garlic fries!

What's the Raving about?. What's everybody else eating and raving about? Our burgers were big, messy and tasted like cardboard. I wish we had just gone to McDonald's.Do youself a favor and skip this place, it's not worth the hassle of finding a parking spot.
