Fun Irish pub and Indian restaurant in one retro, cavernous venue.. In Short
Irish and Indian might seem like strange bedfellows for a North Beach locale, but one visit to this enormous, low-key hangout and the combination seems clear: Part atmospheric pub with more than 200 beers and wines (including all-day $5 pitchers of PBR); part exotic dining room with sit-down Indian fare including curries, dosas and utthappam. A games room with two pool and two air hockey tables, arcade games and darts, and souvenir shop complete the smorgasbord.

A great little pub. Kennedy's is a pub not unlike ones in England. It's dark, maybe a little grungy, but it's got great beer and the people are friendly. It's a locals hangout, not a tourist spot like a lot of the places in the North Beach area. So if your in town and want a break from the Fisherman's Warf, head on down to Kennedy's, try one of their many regionally brewed beers or a good 'ol Guinness, and pull up a chair on the deck. The air hockey and pool tables are nice too.

Bizarre but Great. What a strange place--a tasty indian restaurant surrounded by an Irish dive bar!! Food was great. Try the chicken curry if you like spicy. Bar seemed a bit seedy. Definitely a place you want to order your food to go.
