In Short – A popular lunchtime destination for neighborhood residents and workers, this low-key restaurant serves up steaming bowls of pho (noodle soup), flame-broiled meats and traditional Vietnamese fare in a 48-seat dining room. The interiors are sparsely decorated with only a few wall hangings and basic checked tablecloths. Vegetarians will find a number of options, including sautéed vegetable curry and hot and sour soup with bean sprouts, celery, pineapple, tomato, mushroom and bean curd.

Oh thank you Golden Flower for being a beacon of fresh Vietnamese food in sauce- and old grease and fortune cookie-laden Chinatown! Golden Flower passes the test with flying colors for basic, tasty, cheap and fresh Vietnamese standards. Just look at all the straight black hair around you- my criteria for trying a new Asian place: lots of straight black hair inside. If I keep going here for lunch my dit is really going to be map. (Map Dit= Fat But in Vietnamese).
- Pros: cheap, fresh, darn good Vi-na-mee food
Stop by if you want Vietnamese in Chinatown

This is a good Vietnamese option if you are in the mood for Pho in Chinatown. The Pho and the BBQ Pork are prepared well here. And I really like their peanut sauce since it's thick - the way it's supposed to be - and the spring rolls are always fresh. It's a bit of a hole in the wall so the decor and the service are not fantastic - and it's quite crowded at lunch time since it's a small restaurant - but I still like to stop by. The prices are very reasonable too.
- Pros: Food, Price, Peanut sauce
- Cons: Parking, Service
