no such luck!.
ok, so hubby and i went there friday night, looking for a macadamia nut tart, kinda pecan pie style, with hopefully a chocolate ganache layer. no such luck! tall order, i know, i couldn't help it, i just had a jones for this. anyway, we checked all chestnut and union streets too, but since it was late night-ish, all the bakeries were closed and this was our only choice.
anyway, i was looking for scones too, to put mascarpone on top, or maybe devon cream and marmalade. this they didn't have either. come on, scones? that's not much to ask for. i would have settled for the pre-made, sitting on the shelf for a while stuff either. no such luck!
