An Average Experience. The Holiday Inn is what it is -- an average stay. The rooms were nothing special although it had a good location - next to the Cannery in Del Monte Square & only two blocks from the wharf & cable cars. The bellhops were quite pleasant & helpful. The only con I had was that when we arrived after an 8 hour flight, our smoking room we requested & reserved was no longer available. We had to switch rooms three times before they put us in a room w/ a king size bed & normal shower & no apologies were even given. This is a very average hotel so have average standards.
