This public recreational facility has been operating since 1928, with skeet ranges, a duck tower, hunter-safety training and other sport-shooting amenities. Overlooking Lake Merced, where geese, ducks and other wildlife frolic just out of range, the PRGC is a membership club, although the mostly friendly old-timers you'll find in the clubhouse are happy to help out clueless shooters.
