Yeah, they have their purpose.. Yeah, they're a chain - with all the charm, authenticity, and yummy food only a chain can provide. But besides all that, they do serve a purpose. That is -- if ya wanna get drunk, but not rolling, getting thrown off an establishment drunk, then Chevy's is the place to go.

With friendly servers and goofy gimmicks, Chevys is a big draw for families and groups looking for a fun, affordable night out. A full bar and a dozen different margaritas attract a happy hour crowd, and a tortilla machine is often surrounded by children watching the dough-to-tortilla transformation. Fajitas, a house specialty, are available with nearly a dozen different fillings, from mesquite-grilled chicken to portobello mushrooms and asparagus. Desserts include flan and sopaipillas.

Great happy hour. If your looking for a cheap happy hour in a non-dangerous neighborhood, Chevy's is the place. Happy Hour is from 4-7. There are about 6 appetizers for three dollars (flautas...yum yum, nachos, wings, tamales, etc.). Margaritas, domestic beers, well drinks are also only three dollars (3.25 for fruit margaritas). Great place for state students over 21 or anyone on a cheap budget to get good food for cheap.

Advice: try to go early (4ish) otherwise it takes forever to get a seat in the bar ( they don't serve happy hour in the general dining area)

I can leave this place for under 20 bucks perfectly happy

...besides happy hour, there isn't anything too special about this chain-mex restaurant

Cheap Margaritas and good Salsa!. When i'm at Stonestown, I allways go to the Chevy's bar for a top shelf margarita and the free chips and salsa. A top shelf margarita in a super big glass with all the chips and salsa you want will only set you back about $8. Did I mention that the salsa is really yummy?

Im addicted. Something about there salsa gets me everytime. It has a smokey taste that goes great with their thinly oil fried chips. I eat 3 baskets everytime. AND ITS FREE!
