In Short
With crisp white tablecloths, hardwood floors and delicate fresh-flower-filled vases atop each table, this Church Street café exudes plenty of charm. Tasty pad Thai, beef satay, and a number of curries fill the menu, along with an assortment of tofu and vegetarian entrees sure to tickle the palettes of non-meat-eaters. A stop on the J MUNI line sits right outside, making this an easy spot to get to.

In addition to delicious salads, and mouth watering entrees, the ?Golden Bags? and other starters are not to be overlooked. The tom kha gai (coconut soup) is the best I have ever tasted. I am a Vegetarian and have tried other Thai restaurants in SF and most of them have left me unimpressed. Regent Thai has great food, attentive service, and reasonable prices, and is out right cheap for the lunch specials.

I usually order take out from them and am always amazed how cheap it is. They are very quick to make the food (usually about 10 min) and their dishes are a good size and very yummy. The staff is always very sweet.
