Friendly, and welcoming. I walked into this salon and got in right away with Lacy. She was super-friendly and i LOVE my hair. The color and cut were so precise. I will absolutely come back to this place. Great location as well.

Want liquid straight hair? Go to Blair. I recently had the Japanese Ionic straightening process by Blair and I am thrilled with the outcome. My hair was course and wavy and now it is silky smooth. She took time to explain the process, evaluate my hair, and she was gentle and thorough in completing it. She also uses high quality products that infuse your hair with negative ions so that moisture is retained. ( She can explain better than I can) For years I wanted slick straight hair and I would spend lots of time and money on straightening irons. My ends would be damaged and as soon as I washed my hair, it would go wavy. Now, I can let my hair dry naturally and it is rock star slick. The process does take a few hours but she is so cheerful and knowledgeable that it passes quickly. People tell me my hair looks so shiny. I am so happy. - Dr. Janice Wang

dava dava is the best salon....Katherine is awesome!!. I used to go here when it was dava dava salon and went to the owner Katherine, she is no longer here. She moved and is now at Red Union Salon. She is fantastic. Best hairdresser ever.

Justin Welch is the best colorist in San Francisco. Justin at Berenice salon has been cutting and coloring my hair for ten years now and has always done an incredible job. Even though my hair is naturally quite grey, none of my friends or co-workers have any idea until I tell them! I thought that covering my grey was going to mean that it would have to have a flat, monochromatic look, but Justin keeps my hair color very multidimensional and healthy-looking at the same time. His work is very natural and very consistant, yet he always offers creative suggestions for change (which I almost never take him up on, because I like my hair so much the way it is now.) I have refered tons of my friends (and family) to this talented artist, and they always end up loving him as much as I do. He's a great conversationalist and is always up on what's going on in the city. If you are looking for a stylist that knows what he's doing, is friendly, and reasonablely priced, I can't reccomend Justin highly enough.

Welcoming salon and excellent haircut. I highly recommend going to Carlos at Berenice Salon for a haircut and/or color. I followed Carlos from another salon and couldn't be happier with him. He's not only a wonderfully nice and accomodating person but he is a GREAT hairstylist and colorist.

Great Salon. What a fabulous salon!!!! I've been going here for many years and as I walk in the door I always feel like I've come home. The staff is friendly and the quality of haircuts and hilights that I have gotten from the owner Karen, keeps me coming back. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a great new look.

Julie Rocks!. I've been going to Julie Sharp since she started at DavaDava in 1997. She is always on time, extremely creative, and her blonde highlights are her expertise; not to mention her sense of humor. A great experience to be had by all. I highly recommend Julie! Try her out for yourself!

an hour of heaven. I have been going to Lila at Dava Dava for over 10 years for waxing and facials. Not only is she good at what she does, she is a wonderful, bright warm woman who, while taking care of your face makes you feel good. She is up to date on the latest in skin care and her prices are reasonable. The receptionist is wonderful. Do yourself a favor and call for an appointment or drop in, you won't be sorry.

Laila a cosmetologist at the DivaDiva salon is very highly proffesional.I ve been visiting this salon for almost 10 years and every time recieving caring service.Laila has the best hands,she allways use the best products.I will rate on the scale 1 to 10 the perfect 10!!!.I recomend her to all my friends and everybody was very happy with her profecional service.I was very surprised to see some review,and I think it was somebody very jelouis of her and her sucsess.I will recomend everybody to visit Laila at DavaDava salon.
