Quality eyewear and well trained employees make for this great corner shop in the Marina. They also sell matching necklaces for frames (I bought the stretchy rubber for sailing). Highly recommended.

Appreciate the friendly staff and non-pushy attitude. Finally found a pair of eyeglasses I won't be embarrassed of. They are pros at finding the right frames for your face shape (my cheeks usually push the frames up too high). Another customer there at the same time as me had a similar issue as I did and we both found frames that fit perfectly. I'll be back for suns. Ask for Aaron!

About those exterior sound speakers........ The storefront of this company is self-serving and intrusive with their outdoor speakers carrying indoor music (which is about as loud and interesting as something you'd hear at a pole dance). It is not very neighbourly and reminds me of an old floozy wearing cheap perfume so that one is aware of her presence if anywhere within fifty yards of her.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. had high hopes, spend lots of cash, but got crummy service and, apparently, I'm not the first one to experience this....beware!

Shady business practices abound. I went into this optical shop looking for a new cool pair of specs. I found some i liked, and was upfront with them about wanting to do some price checking. So i asked the salesman to please write down the info of the two pairs i liked. He did this. Then, I walked down the street to another store where they couldnt find the style numbers he wrote down. Well, turns out he merely gave me the I.D. number that his store uses.......knowing I would not be able to find the glasses by them, as they are not the same as the manufacturer style numbers. So I walked back in and asked for the actual style numbers, which I couldn't get by looking at the frames because the store purposely covers them up with a piece of metal you cant remove or see through. The guy was clearly annoyed that I had found him out and said "im not supposed to tell you this, but fine...the number is ..." Thats when i realized this store is totally shady as well as a rip off. Turns out the same frames were 50 dollars cheaper at the Ocularium, which is down the street....and which I highly recommend because they are HONEST!!!! SF optincs will NEVER get my money or any of my friends' money!!!!

Nice specs, slow turnaround. They have a great selection, nice staff...but almost to the point of an annoying helpful. The nicer glasses are of course more expensive. they say 2 weeks delivery, it has been almost 3 weeks and I still have not yet received my glasses. Not cool when you really need your glasses to see!

hot stuff. i fly in to sf about every year of so. i always stop in to see whats hot. i've bought several pair of glasses. the selection is very current without being out there. the staff (won't give names) are all helpful without being pushy, whitty, charming and very informed. not like some stuffy offices i've been in. if i'd fly 3000 miles to shop for galsses...
