If you're looking to a place to unwind and have some wine Hi-Fi Lounge is the place to be. Cozy place, great music and cool people.
great place to dance. this is my go to spot when i want to dance in the marina. the space is small but, the music makes up for it!
Good dancing. Great place to get the ladies moving. Pick them up at Kelley's Tavern around the corner and bring them here to get down. Not much action on the weekdays but the weekends get crazy here.
User review by smilez079. i would recommend this place. it was my 1st time going a few weeks ago on a saturday. great hip hop mix and lively crowd. at first it was majority girls but later it was well mix with guys too. i would go back.
A small retro-sleek DJ club that gets Marina partygoers dancing..
In Short
Velvet paintings and disco balls lend a 1950s vibe, while a stained-glass mural done in primary colors hangs over rounded silver-vinyl couches. A DJ booth looks over the central dance floor, where men in Hilfiger and women in minis dance to '80s hits, hip-hop or funk, depending on the night. A large back booth--seating up to 20--lets wallflowers gossip unseen. This is a full bar with all the standard bottled brews.
Crowded hotspot. I don't know how Hi-Fi maintains such crowds but this place gets seriously packed on the weekends. I went on a Friday night and could barely get past the bar to the tiny dance floor. The music and crowd was happening but when it was THAT crowded, the stuffy/sweaty atmosphere makes it almost impossible to dance. Nevertheless, if you don't mind it like that, you can definitely have a good time at Hi-Fi (because the music mix is tight) and meet new people easily.
Local Bar/Club that still works. Very few bars can last for longer than 6 months before the crowd turns. This place has done well by not promoting and staying the silent, yet well attended bar in the neighborhood. Sad part, too many locals cry about paying a cover charge to get in. Any place that really only gets customers 3 nights a week for 3 hours deserves to charge a cover to stay alive.
Fly Fi. This is a cool little place just down from the triangle. The bartenders are attentive, friendly, and fun. The crowd is hip and fun for the most part. Though there were a few people that looked like they belonged at a Pacific Heights social gathering at some mansion rather than a small and fun club. The dancefloor gets pretty crowded but that is part of the fun. The DJs are solid though a little pedestrian. For the most part we had a killer time!
