The Scene
Attractive and well-to-do 30-somethings, served by an equally beautiful staff, crowd the front half of this Cow Hollow institution. The dining area evokes an old-fashioned power-broker restaurant, replete with dark-wood paneling and soaring ceilings. Professional servers in white jackets cater to movers and shakers tucked into secluded tables.
The Food
The menu features a variety of American cuisine staples, many with modern twists. Appetizers include meaty Dungeness crab cakes, spinach salad with salty pancetta, and calamari with bloody-mary cocktail sauce. The large, juicy burger spiced up with sweet grilled onions and tangy cheddar cheese is served with a mountain of crispy shoestring fries. Impeccably fresh wild salmon is served medium-rare, unless requested otherwise, and comes with hearty pan-fried potatoes. The cheese plate features a stellar collection of American cheeses like Juniper Grove Farm's Buche and Jasper Hill's Constant Bliss.

It's a nice place to meet your coworkers for lunch. The food is tasty and the service is great. During the evening the bar get pretty happening with a well behaved crowd. The prices have been reasonable and they take all major credit cards.

I?ve been here before and each time, I have had a very pleasant dining experience. On top of that, did you know this restaurant is teaming up with StreetSmart4kids? It?s actually really cool what they?re doing. I just heard about how SS4K is a nonprofit organization that helps underprivileged teens stay healthy. They are running their ?Dine Out and Donate? campaign here (as well as approx. 70 other restaurants in SF) during October and early November. After having a fabulous dining experience, just fill out the donation form when paying the check (minimum donation $3). This is perfect for people like me, who love to eat out all the time and also like to give back to the community. Check it out for yourself on the StreetSmart4Kids website!

We usually eat here when we do a working lunch. The food is pretty allright, i stick to the burgers and fries.I love the old world ambiance here, the bar is pretty cool with all the wood panellings. The service is good, the servers are very helpful in clearing our tables when we need more work space. The hostess is very pleasant and gives a nice welcome as you walk in. Would recommend them. the prices are reasonable.
