Time to Shut it Down. I have frequented this neighborhood bar for the past 5 years. It has changed tremendously...for the worst. I have to say that some of the bartenders have most to do with this. Delaney's used to be a quieter neighborhood spot, great to watch sports, and meet up with friends. Now it's a spot where young college kids, show up wasted out of their minds towards the end of the night, and drop beers and start fights. The bathrooms are disgusting. Vomit and urine is the theme there. Don't bother telling the bartenders because they'll brush you off. I hate that they hired a Bartender with a smile as fake as her bosom. it's really sad that bartenders have to be so fake to draw bigger tips from drunk patrons. All it takes is 2-3 visits to find out which bartender sleeps with bartender, and patrons as well. It's pretty sick. All this place needs is new management, or perhaps just new faces. We want Delaney's back! The quiet neighborhood spot with friendly faces.
Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors. Neighborhood bar located on the Marina strip offers sports television, happy hour, full bar and arcade games.
recommended. Parking there isn't as bad as other parts in the Marina since it's at the end of the busy area. Along with the same drinks that all bars have, they had some other drinks that I had never heard before and ended up being pretty good. It would have been nicer had there been a bit more room but with the high rent in SF these days, what can you do? When I first got there, the crowd in the bar didn't come off as being too friendly, but after talking to them a bit, they seemed like a friendly crowd.
