Editorial Review for Horseshoe Tavern – by Stephanie Laemoa
In Short
Patrons spill out the doors and enthusiastic shouts can be heard from across the street. Inside, conversation competes with 1960s classic rock on the loud speakers, ESPN on the large-screen TV and yells from sports buffs. The interior is low-key, with black-and-white photos of old San Francisco, and snapshots of the owner's friends and family on the walls. The bar area is narrow and the back room tight, with two pool tables and a gang of cheering spectators.

This is a nice chill spot with a pool table. It's great for after work drinks, and it's not too expensive.

There is no better, casual, friendly, fun, atmospheric bar in the SF Marina that really makes you feel like you are welcome every time you come in. The staff are first class and manage the bar better than any other place around here. I can't recommend the place enough, and I am English, so I know a few things about pubs!
Pros: ambiance, service, location
Cons: busy
