Great Chinese take out!. This place has the best take out! The food is not the greasy, soggy Chinese food you may fearful of. The food has amazing flavor and is always fresh. My favorite thing about this restaurant is the chocolate flavored fortune cookies (note: you can take as many as you want...yum).

Lighest Chinese food!. Its a cute little place in the Marina. It is the lightest chinese food I have ever had and I never feel heavy afterwards. I love the salt & pepper calamari appetizer and of course their big dumplings. The Mongolian Beef, Hong Kong Noodles, Garlic eggplant are excellent delicious main courses.

As good as it gets. we live in the area and this is our favorite place to dine. for an appetizer the pork potstickers are the BEST and the chix lettuce cups are a good compliment. for entrees the walnut prawns, mongolian beef, and lemongrass chicken are great for a party of 4 to share. the best part is that you can actually tell you're eating beef or chix, unlike some other chinese restaurants that leave you guessing. another good entree is the beef chow fun. some get turned off b/c the menu says it is made with oyster sauce but don't let sway your decision as you won't even taste it. for beverages they have a great beer selection including Tsing Tao and Tiger. The wine list is also decent with prices that won't break your bank. lastly, for dessert they offer 2 kinds of fortune cookie: regular and chocolate which the wife really likes. You can't find a better value for a great dinner including drinks anywhere! the only cons are parking and it can be crowded at times. if you find yourself with a wait, go directly next door to the marina lounge for cocktail and the host / hostess will even come and find you when your table is ready! we love this place

Totally average. For the life of me, I cannot comprehend how this place got so many stellar reviews. Maybe we're spoiled, having moved here from NYC where the Chinese food is outstanding. We shared a number of dishes - the chicken in lettuce pockets, the crystal shrimp, the dragon beef, and the green beans - and none of them were something we would order again. In fact, we probably won't visit the restaurant again. Please tell me there is better Chinese food in the Marina/Cow Hollow district!!

A casual setting, reasonable prices and a healthy spin on Chinese fare make this a Marina favorite.. The Scene
Singles in a post-workout fog, families with young children, awkward first dates--Dragon Well patrons span the range of Marina dwellers. A simple Zen-like interior with clean, wood-framed walls and trapezoid paper lanterns keeps the atmosphere relaxed, even though the takeout counter is always bustling.

The Food
The kitchen's healthy spin on Chinese cuisine perfectly suits the Marina's figure-conscious crowd. For entrees, slices of lean tea-smoked duck, infused with a hauntingly smoky flavor, are presented with a luscious hoisin sauce that highlights the rich poultry with the perfect depth of flavor. Minced chicken in lettuce cups offers a pleasing counterpoint: nicely spicy with a sweet backdrop. Other offerings do not fare quite as well. Despite ample amounts of chives and chilies, the Dragon beef is bland and chewy, and both the green beans and the garlic eggplant are extremely sweet.
