The Condor Was Filled Every Night Because of Carol Doda. I had the pleasure of working with Carol in the late 70's I was a cocktail waitress at the Condor and she packed the place, every night. It was one of the best times of my life. San Fransisco was amazing and so much fun, and the Condor with Dave and Tex was an absolute insane place to work....good memories...

A lingerie expert of sorts, Carol Doda bared her silicone-enhanced breasts at the Condor nightclub in North Beach when she was a young cocktail waitress and aspiring actress in 1964. Doda opened her store in the early '90s, and specializes in plus-sized items as well as corsets.
