Poor Service, Rude Manager, No Follow Up.. After having a technical glitch at the store a perishable item was not delivered on time. After admitting to the mistake the UPS store has backtracked and refused to make things right. They have claimed part of their paid services clearly advertised on their website is a courtesy and refused to call back after several attempts to discuss the issue and achieve a resolution. This forced me to have to involve the BBB and even now they are trying to blame everyone else for the mistake and not take any responsibility for their own system failure. This mistake caused a Christmas present to be ruined and has only created a headache since then. There service might be fine but watch out if something goes wrong because they will ignore you, refuse to make things right and blame you for their own mistakes. There are plenty of other businesses like this, find another one and save yourself a hassle.

I really like having a mailbox at this store. The entire staff is very friendly and professional. I know my mail is very safe and secure, and the other services the store offers are top notch.

Great choice for your mailbox. I've had a mailbox here for over a year and I have been happy with the service. Packages that don't fit in your box are safely kept behind the desk, and all the staff is warm and friendly. One issue is that parking is a bit tough but other than that I would recommend the place as a reliable venue for your mail. Also note they have different sizes for mailboxes so try to check out the boxes in person to determine the right fit.
Long Time Client. My experience with the Marina UPS Store way back in 1991. I know for sure it's a great place. It is SOOO convenient to have UPS packages received there providing me the luxury of being out earning money vs. sitting at home waiting for a delivery. Love the 24/7 access to retrieve mail. A part of the Marina community. I have had a box here for a while. The manager and staff always go out of their way to accommodate me since I travel quite a bit. One the great things about the service is I get an email when a package arrives. It is owned by a UPS Store franchisee who has a few locations so everything about how it is run is very professional while maintaining a Marina community feel.
It makes my heart race when I receive positive reviews like this one. We work hard to provide that "local" feel to our service while maintaining a professional atmosphere. Best Color Printing and excellent service!. I have come to this store on several occasions with last minute color print jobs and they have always come through for me without gouging with with "rush" rates. I promised to bring them all my printing business if they could get these highly detailed training manuals printed, bound and shipped to my next corporate training. They opened up a house account for billing so I never have to stick around to pay for anything - I just drop and go and they charge my credit card at the end of the month. The ownership and manager seem to understand the needs of its Marina clientele, much more so than other owners in years past. I have been doing business with Kinko's across Lombard for many years because I didn't know there were other options. But since finding The UPS Store on Chestnut, I now have a locally-owned and operated printing provider whose rates and service are so much better than Kinko's. I cannot recommend this place more strongly.

Don't try to killl 2 birds with one stone..... Don't give them anything besides your UPS. They do accept USPS as well as UPS. On two separate occasions I thought I would killl two birds with one stone and let them mail my USPS small package as well. The recipients never received the packages. I should have known better since there was no way to track, but I have never had problems with the USPS before and never thought twice.
This is one conversation that I always dread having with a customer who experiences a loss via another carrier. With every UPS shipment there is a tracking system that follows the package every step of it's destination. Unfortunately, the U.S. Postal Service only offers tracking as an additional option and it's only available with select mailing options. In most cases, such as yours, all you're really doing is putting postage on the package and dropping it into the mailbox (via our The UPS Store location.) Please let me know the next time your in our store and I'll do everything I can to make it up to you. We're committed to customer service excellence. Thank goodness there is new management!. Just found out that there is new management at this location - committed owners and staff dedicated to customer service. By far, the best priced and easiest place to work with for printing and copying. The new manager said they will be adding full-time notary service soon. I run several small businesses out of 3 different The UPS Store locations in San Francisco and will be renting a mailbox at this location soon as well. If you didn't come here before because of the mediocre service, come here now for service that can be described as nouveau "old fashioned." This place kicks Kinko's a*s on service and price. Better yet, they are a locally owned and operated store...a real San Francisco small business.
