Elsewhere Books

The place my wife and I were engaged. I admit to having a somewhat prejudiced view of this bookstore. Five years ago ( come December 23rd around 10AM) I proposed to my wife in this store, and she accepted. We will be back in San Francisco - and hope to be there at the same time again.

The books - I remember how it was five years ago, and that we bought a couple from behind the counter; browsed the other stacks; and it was a good (and ultimately) rewarding experience.…
