The hot pies delivered from this Inner Sunset pizzeria can be a godsend for residents of the outer avenues on particularly cold, foggy nights.. Vintage photos of '70s mustaches and pegged jeans from the '80s cover the walls at this longtime neighborhood Italian joint, where diners are just as likely to run into groups of college students swilling pitchers of cheap beer as they are to see three generations of the same family sharing some pasta, a pizza and some laughs. Obviously, dining in (or simply stopping by for a $3.50-slice of cheese for the road) is always an option, but the to-your-door service of loaded large combos is the main draw in this neighborhood with few delivery options. Just don't get caught red-handed when the car pulls up out front: remember the restaurant is cash only, and that applies to delivery as well.

Great comfort food; great delivery. This is the best comfort food available. I was so surprised. I have tried many Italian and Brazilian places of the same style, and this one has become my favorite for delivery (which is very fast). And the prices are fantastic for the amount of food they offer. I'd recommend it

Excellent pepperoni. Milano is your neighborhood pizzeria with red & white checked tableclothes and personalized pictures on the wall. I've only had the pepperoni and meat combination pizzas but both were amazingly good. The garlic bread is good but the salads are pretty boring.

Very good neighborhood pizza joint. We live in the Sunset and this is the better pizza place near us on 9th Avenue, next door to Eldo's Microbrewery. It is convienient to the N Judah line and has a nice pizza joint ambiencein. They have good pizza here and we always end up with some kind of pizza even though there are many other choices that also appear to be just as tasty. We often have this pizza delivered on a Friday night when we are too tired to go out. Delivery has always been prompt for us and the pizza hot and the way we like it. It has been around for such a long time that it is old fashioned in that it is only cash and carry but well worth the extra effort.

Excellent Pizza, but not the best. Milanos makes really good pizza, some of the best in San Francisco. It's worth a visit.

45 minutes after ording and still no food. ordered pasta dish was similar to canned chef boyardee ....with melted cheese on top. Orderd pizza with the pasta but never recieved it / bottom line led to a walk out. But the pizza looked good judging from the guy sitting at the next table scarfing his whole sausage pie, while I was waiting for mine for 1 hour. never again

Neighborhood Gem. For many years they turn out consistently good and the most delicious pizza. If you have your order delivered, the pizza arrives fresh with a courteous driver who works for them for years. Great to have them around.

I hope u've been. I have been to many a pizzerias and this definitely ranks among the best. Lots of cheese and fixin's. Oh yeah, very delicious.
