Best Thai Food in the City!. ae Thip seems to be a well-kept secret. Ive been coming here for lunch and dinner for 4 years and thoroughly enjoy it. The service is always friendly and punctual, the prices are very reasonable and parking is a breeze because its further down from the busy intersection of 9th and Irving. The Thai Iced Tea here is great! (unlike other places). I usually order seafood/veggies. The special cold roll w/shrimp is divine as is a fish dish, but my absolute favorite is the Gang Koor Goong. You can request any level of spiciness and they will accurately prepare it according to your specifications. Ive tried all of the desserts and theyre all delicious. Ive never been disappointed here. The decor is tasteful not tacky, the restaurant is a good size so you dont feel cramped and it has a very tranquil effect. I cant recommend this restaurant enough!…
Spicy food. We enjoyed several dishes at the restaurant, primarily chicken dishes and found the chicken overdone, very dry. The curry chicken was good. The Tom Yum soup was very spicy. The dining room is very nice and service was fair. We had to ask for refills of our water glasses. It's a nice neighborhood restaurant but not the best Thai food that you can get in SF.…
