fab!!!!. great service! nice people! the best food that i have ever had!!! fab prices!!!!!!
absolutely worth the weekend wait. My family and I have been going to Rain Tree for about a decade and I can't say anything but great stuff about it. I love the salads, sandwiches, their omellettes and their prices. It sure is not an upscale, roomy cafe, but the food quality and the prices are excellent. There is usually a line on the weekends, but definitely worth the wait.
Great for Kids.
I can see how this cafe wouldnt be the ideal for sunday breakfast with the friends (not exactly the brunch type place...)...However...if you have kids...this is really a good place to go. The waitresses remember the kids and promptly give them something to munch on (so that there dont seem to be yelling kids).
As a parent...this is appreciated...
Rude!. I also recently ate at Raintree for breakfast to catch up with some old friends. The service was terrible! Waitresses were extremely lazy and rude. The food wasn't to die for, but somewhat decent. Definitely not a good combination or worth it to go!
Rude Beyond Belief. I recently had breakfast at Raintree with some friends I hadn't seen in a while. Our food was mediocre and the waitress did not refill my coffee or water, and took my friend's plate before whe was done. She promptly brought us the bill, and only a few minutes after we'd paid (and tipped!!), she had the nerve to come to our table and ask us if we would leave so she could seat someone else!! If you're in the area looking for good food and great service, go to Irving Street Cafe or Darla's and steer clear of Raintree!!
