Spinach, ground beef, and mushrooms with eggs- Fantastic. One of my favorite breakfast spots. Coffee is so so - maybe a latte instead. Great pancakes too- The banana are my favorite.

Best Hash Browns! Good breakfast!

My friend took me to Irving Street Cafe over a decade ago and I've been coming ever since. I didn't realize how good their hash browns were until I started trying other breakfast/brunch places. Irving Street Cafe cooks 'em up with an extra crispy crust, just the way I like 'em. The corned beef hash is made crispy, too! The hubby enjoys the Pacifica omelet, which has shrimp, mushrooms, green onions, and jalapenos.

I don't go that often, so "the sisters" don't know me by name, but I can see that they've built quite a rapport with many of the regulars. That's definitely something to be commended!

• Cons: difficult parking, can get crowded

Irving Street Cafe

Although they are only open for breakfast and lunch and there is sometimes a line and there are tons of other restaurants in the vicinity, Irving Street Cafe is the best around. I am a burger fanatic and they have the best ever! The rest of the menu is pretty fantastic too!

• Pros: Delicious food, Attentive Service, Right on the N Line
• Cons: , Not open for dinner, Long lines
