Le Video now has more than 50,000 movies on VHS and several thousand on laser disc and DVD. While the famously casual service at Le Video slipped a little when the store expanded next door, it's still the only place in the city where you can go in with a question like "You know, that movie with that guy and the stuff with that thing?" and get the right answer.

Awesome video store!!! They have the best variety of old classic movies and foreign movies in all of San Francisco!! They're late fees are aweful so make sure to bring movies back on time. But other than that, they're great!! Also, Gordo's is right next door, so if you want to get movies and Mexican food to bring home, then it's a great almost one stop shop!!!

I love Le Video. This store is a reason to go to video stores instead of only using Netflix or OnDemand. The selection is amazing. No matter what type of movie you are looking for, they probably have the appropriate category. They have a Nunsploitation category! With a wide selection for that as well. The staff is knowledgeable and only mildly pretentious. They usually have good recommendations, especially if you are looking to see something completely different and random.

my friends and i decided to go on a cruise and to get us in the mood, i wanted to rent cruise-related movies. a couple of titles came up after googling, and after calling 2 blockbusters and 1 hollywood, only le video had it in stock. in dvd and vhs, my choice. keep up the good work. your company is great!

There are many new fabulous restaurants that surround Le Video. As parking is notoriously bad in the evening, enjoy the spot that you finally find and eat at Avenue 9.
