This King Arthur-themed restaurant dishes out pizzas, sandwiches, salads and more to hungry families and couples on dates..
In Short
The first Round Table Pizza opened in Menlo Park, Calif. in 1959. Today, the chain boasts more than 500 restaurants internationally and is recognized for its made-from-scratch dough, mozzarella, provolone and cheddar blend and gourmet toppings like fire-roasted Roma tomatoes, creamy garlic sauce and salami. Pizzas are available in pan and "skinny" (aka, super-thin) varieties. The menu also offers up turkey, ham and chicken club sandwiches, bread sticks and salads.

Wash your hands!.
I've ordered from this particular Round Table about five times. The pizza tasted pretty good, although they could use a little more cheese. Delivery has always been within 30-45 minutes. However, the last time I ordered this pizza I decided to pick it up rather than have it delivered. When I went to pay for the pizza the guy making the pizza took my money and then returned to making the pizzas. He never removed his gloves. He continued to make pizzas with his gloves on and periodically return to the money drawer without ever removing his gloves. Then I saw another employee smoking outside and then he went in to make pizzas without washing his hands. I did call and tell the manager, but she completely blew me off. Hygiene is very important and I find this disgusting. I won't be eating here anymore.

King Arthur is not amused.
Food is OK but the service needs some attention. Twice now, thats two times in a row I did not get what I orderd. This shows that someone is not listening. The only thing that I can find as a problem with Round Table is they really need to put more cheese on the pizza and then when you order is with extra cheese they "forget" to put it on the pizza. Place your order with care........then hope they listen
