Best surf shop in Northern California. Period.. Selection: Incredible range of boards

Staff: Friendly, always willing to help, will go out of their way to help, not pushy at all, give great advice

Expertise: These guys --all of them at Wise-- know boards, breaks, and equipment better than anyone

I've bought at least eight boards and as many wetsuits dating back to '97. Not a single complaint. Nothing but accolades.

Most knowledgeable and affable staff/Best surf shop. O.K. I was feeling intimidated after years of being out of the sport, and my ego was getting in the way of choosing the right board for me. (I'm not the guy I was surfing all the time in my younger years.) These guys saw where I was coming from and made calls according to what I wanted. They didn't try to get me to buy anything.They were happy to bring me up to speed on current trends and pointed me in the right direction. In short they had been highly recomended to me by friends who surf and they exceeded my expectations. THANKS!

Best Service. When i first started surfing I rented boards down in Halfmoon, I bought a suit down there at a local shop. They fitted me wrong and my legs balooned up with water. When I returned to the shop to get a proper fit they told me that I could not return the suit as it had been used once.

Distraught I brought my suit to Wise and they were so discusted that they let me exchange my suit for a better fitting model. I subsequently bought my board there.

Great guys, great attitude. This is how all shops shoud be.

Amazing!. I recently returned to the sport of surfing after a ten year sabatical. I was pleased to find that Wise Surfboards is still THE San Francisco destination for surf gear. The helped me find a board and wetsuit that I now love- and it was well within my budget.

After all these years, it's great to see the dedication these guys bring to providing the best surfing equipment and friendly, very helpful staff.

Bad Karma!!!. Great location, good selection - but ZERO customer service. Faulty goods are sold and warranties are breached. Would not buy anything from them ever again... The owner is unfriendly and offensive to customers!!!
