Editorial Review for Seal Rock Inn – by Gayot.com

In Short
This oceanfront motel is located next to Sutro Heights Park and just a few blocks from the famed Cliff House, Sutro Bath Ruins and Golden Gate Park. Many of the rooms boast beautiful ocean and Seal Rock views, and all are fabulously large, making them popular with families. Most accommodations on the third floor have wood-burning fireplaces; you're given a set of logs when you check in. Stovetop kitchenette units are available. The cute, Mediterranean-style Seal Rock Inn restaurant serves breakfast and a special Greek lunch menu.

This is the worst restaurant I have ever visited. About 2 weeks ago, I was sitting outside the restaurant, way in the back far from the entrance, with my two service dogs. The manager came out and told me that I could not leave my dogs tied up in the back if I wanted to dine there (I was waiting for 6 friends). When he saw the service patches on the dogs, he asked me what my disability was. I told him that was an illegal request and that I was not attempting to bring the dogs into the restaurant but would leave them outside. He then told me he did not like my attitude and said he was exercising his right to refuse service to me. He even called the police, who were outraged as his conduct. I will be suing this place and suggest that no one ever go there.
